Last year, Langley Memorial Hospital’s caring staff helped usher over 1,400 babies into the world, performed over 10,700 surgeries, supported over 920 individuals access mental health and substance use in-patient care and treated over 47,700 urgent care cases in our Emergency Department.
And while the hospital worked hard to meet the care needs of the community with the resources they had, our generous donors stepped up in a significant way, helping to raise $17 million to fund a new Emergency Department and MRI Suite and replace worn or out-of-date equipment with new, state-of-the-art pieces that will advance the care provided in new and expanded Emergency Department, and throughout the hospital.
Thank you for the important role you are playing in local health care and helping to enrich the quality of life of our patients, our residents and, ultimately, our community.
To learn more about the successes this year, and a few of the donors who made this success possible, please read the Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation Annual Report 2018-19.
It’s an honour to celebrate donors who have supported health care at our hospital and in our community this year. Thank you.
